PE-THEDA for Pro/ENGINEER ®
PE-TRONIC is equipped with a number of interfaces for PCB layout systems, e.g. THEDA of Incases
Engineering GmbH. The corresponding interface module PE-THEDA was realized using the Pro/DEVELOP
programming interface. The application features the following functions:
Export with PE-THEDA
The information extracted through the PE-TRONIC analysis is translated into the THEDA-format "TL"
(Technical Language). First, offsets for COPPER-divider and SELECTIV-release contours are
calculated, after that the export file is created. The export file includes the following sections
and information:
- HEADER with PC_BOARD
- NET_LIST with COMPONENTS
- PHYSICAL_LAYOUT with
- COPPER_DIVIDERS
- DRILL_HOLES
- OUTLINES
- COMPONENTS
- COPPER_AREAS
- KEEPINS and KEEPOUTS
Additional Functions of PE-THEDA
Several configuration files enable the user to adapt PE-THEDA to his personal requirements. For
example, different offsets can be set for COPPER-Divider and SELECTIV-release. In addition, several
versions of THEDA can be selected for the export.
Supported Hard- and Software:
PE-THEDA is available for all current Pro/ENGINEER versions running on most popular platforms
(UNIX/Windows).
