PI-MERGE for Pro/INTRALINK ®

Migration Tool for Pro/I Commonspaces

PI-MERGE is a tool for merging a single Pro/INTRALINK Commonspace, or parts thereof, into an existing Commonspace, including the object history. Besides merging two Commonspaces, PI-MERGE has additional use cases:
  • Move projects between Commonspaces
  • Share Data between Commonspaces
  • Archive projects
  • Backup projects
  • Distribute library parts
  • Merge library parts
  • Merge multiple Commonspaces into a single one
  • Clean up and consolidate settings (e.g. Revision Scheme, Release Schemes, ...) of existing Commonspaces
  • Build a basic library for implementing an online/offline replication tool

PI-MERGE consists of two main applications:

  • Check Tool:
    The purpose of the check tool is the analysis of the source and target Commonspace and the detection of any conflict which may occur during physical transfer of the objects.
  • Transfer Tool:
    This transfer tool performs the physical export of the objects and data from the source Commonspace and the import into the target Commonspace.

Supported Hard- and Software:

PI-MERGE is available for Pro/INTRALINK versions 3.0, 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 running on Windows and SUN Solaris platforms.
