Examples for Customer Specific Trigger Applications:
- CheckinSetFolder Trigger:
When checking in a newly generated object the checkin folder will be automatically set according to
the object's attributes and the object checked in to this folder.
- PromoteDemoteRevisionControl Trigger:
The changes to an object's release level are controlled for compliance with the predefined release
procedure. When releasing an object's new revision all older revisions of the object are made
inaccessible to ensure that there is only one released revision. A revision released for a specific
release level can not be modified anymore. Therefore a new revision of the object with a lower
release level is generated when the release level of a released revision is demoted to allow
modifications while maintaining the released revision of the object. If a change to the release
level is made, all subordinate versions and revisions are erased; only the highest is maintained
with its original release level.
- PreventDemoteInCommonspace Trigger:
This trigger prevents a demote of the release level in the Commonspace, respectively restricts it
to the Pro/INTRALINK-Administrator.
Supported Hard- and Software:
PI-TRIGGER is available for all current Pro/ENGINEER and Pro/INTRALINK versions running on most
popular platforms (UNIX/Windows).
