PI-WORKFLOW for Pro/INTRALINK ®
Workflow Management for Pro/I
PI-WORKFLOW controls and automates the release procedures of Pro/INTRALINK objects. Each change to
a Release Level is checked for compliance with the predefined release procedure. PI-WORKFLOW
assures that all older revisions of an object are automatically made inaccessible upon release of a
later revision of the object. Thus, only one revision of an object can be released. When a revision
is released for a certain Release Level it can not be changed any more. A demote is required if
changes have to be made to it.
Hence, when demoting a released revision, PI-WORKFLOW creates a new revision of the object with a
demoted Release Level. The new revision then allows for modifications of the object. The released
revision of the object is maintained, however. Upon change of the Release Level all subordinate
versions and revisions are removed, only the highest is maintained in its original Release Level.
PI-WORKFLOW includes the purge functionality of PI-AUTOPURGE.
