WT-iPLOT and WT-iEXPORT for Windchill PDMLink, Pro/INTRALINK
®
Interactive access to drawings, sets of drawings and 3D models without Pro/ENGINEER knowledge
Employees and colleagues, who do not have experience in the application of Pro/Engineer,
need drawings, sets of drawings and 3D models in all sorts of neutral formats or as prints for
their tasks. With WT-iPLOT and WT-iEXPORT you get an integrated surface in Windchill PDMLink or
Pro/INTRALINK, which is very simple to use. As a consequence you get a simple and access protected
access to the required data. Objects can be searched, selected and exported or printed directly in
an eligible neutral format.
The user logs in Windchill PDMLink or Pro/INTRALINK like every normal user and has his own
defined access rights on products and objects. The available functions and masks can be adjusted
with the standard configuration possibilities of Windchill PDMLink or Pro/INTRALINK.

You can use e.g. the standard search to select the objects which you like to print or to
export. The user gets only objects for which he has a corresponding access right. The objects from
the hit list are assigned to a print or export shopping cart.
After the object choice is completed and the list of the objects to be printed or exported
is prepared, you can assign - depending on the object type - an available export format or a
printer. Furthermore you have to define, in which configuration (as stored, as latest, latest
released) the action shall be executed.
When the print / export order is started by the user, the processing objects are adjusted,
with the defined configuration and the defined export format or aim printer, as an order in the
WT-Queue Server. The WT-Queue Server distributes the orders to one or several corresponding
WT-iPLOT/iEXPORT servers. This server carries out the real action with the call of the objects in a
Pro/ENGINEER session.
Print jobs which are distributed at a printer or a plotter are sent to the output device as
a closed order. After a successful execution of the order, the user is informed by e-mail. If the
order could not be carried out successfully, the user gets an error message by e-mail with the
objects, which could not be printed or exported.

Besides the direct printing on configurable printers and plotters the following export formats
are available for 2D and 3D objects:
