THE COMPANY

The Software Factory GmbH based in Garching near Munich, has been developing customised, high-performance software solutions for industrial companies, large corporations and SMEs since 1992. As a technology partner for industrial digitalisation, the company supports its customers in making development, production and data processes more efficient, transparent and future-proof.

Its customers include companies from the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering sectors as well as other technology-orientated industries and public institutions. Among others BMW, Bosch, Siemens, ZF Lifetec and TÜV on Software Factory's software solutions and the high quality of the systems developed.

With around 40 employees, the Software Factory realises projects along the entire digital value chain - from individual software development and intelligent production systems to data-driven Industry 4.0 solutions. The company consistently pursues a customised approach: instead of standardised software products, solutions are created that are precisely tailored to the customer's processes, systems and business models.

ITQ is a competent partner for mechatronics in mechanical and plant engineering. For over 20 years, the independent company has stood for mechatronic engineering and interdisciplinary project management. The focus is on software and automation technology in machines as well as on the introduction of systematic software engineering processes in the mechanical engineering environment.

Our history

The Software Factory can look back on over 30 years of company history. Founded in 1992 by Dr Rainer Stetter, Peter Bartl and Thomas Trägler as a spin-off of the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) at the Technical University of Munich, ITQ GmbH was established in 1998 as a sister company for consulting, support and implementation of software projects.
