Java Full-Stack Developer / Architect - PTC Windchill (m/f/d)
Your job
- Architecture, design and further development of full-stack solutions around PTC Windchill
- Customising, extensions, workflows and interfaces (APIs) in Windchill
- Backend development in Java / J2EE (e.g. Spring, REST/SOAP services)
- Front-end development with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; frameworks such as React, Angular or similar)
- Databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, SQLite etc.); optimisation of queries, performance and scalability
- Collaboration in agile project teams; participation in architecture decisions, code reviews, quality assurance
- Integration of Windchill into existing system landscapes (ERP, CAD, IoT, etc.)
- Technical coaching / mentoring of colleagues; possibly taking on sub-project management tasks
Your expertise
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, software engineering or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development (full stack), ideally with project experience in the area of PLM
- Sound knowledge of:
- Java / J2EE, Java Frameworks
- Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS / TS; frameworks such as React, Angular or equivalent)
- API design (REST, SOAP)
- Databases, SQL, performance optimisation
- Experience with Windchill customising, workflows, interfaces (APIs)
- Good knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and best practices
- Experience in agile methods (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Team player, proactive, independent, with an eye for quality
