Senior Java Developer MES/PLS (m/f/d)
Your job
- Further development and programming of an MES for a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive sector
- Customization and further development of the graphical user interface (GUI) and integration of third-party applications
- Developing and executing automated unit and functional tests
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of solutions
- Application support and assistance with operation and maintenance
Your expertise
- Degree in computer science or engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of practical experience in the development of Java applications and frameworks
- Practical experience in working with and integrating relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB)
- Understanding of client-server architectures, as well as system and IT knowledge in the areas of Java and RMI communication
- Ideally, experience with software in industrial and production-related environments and with the use of container technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Customer and service orientation as well as flexibility and the ability to work in a team
- Structured and goal-orientated way of working and high quality awareness
- Good German and English skills
- Professional demeanour and willingness to travel
