ProMoA - SF research project

ProMoA stands for product-based automatic model-based plant development. The aim of the joint ProMoA project was to develop new methods and IT tools for automatic, product-based planning of new plants and for simulation-based testing of the suitability and redesign of existing plants. In future, this planning system will also take into account the effects of design changes to the product on the system configuration. This makes it possible to optimise the planning of both completely new systems and necessary changes to existing systems as fully automatically as possible with reduced effort.

Software Factory worked on the project together with other well-known companies. It was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supervised by the Karlsruhe Research Centre (PTKA) as the project sponsor.
