SF – MEMBER OF THE SECURITY NETWORK MUNICH

The Foundation Meeting for the Security Network Munich was held on the 10th of January. Participants of the Foundation Meeting included u.a. Giesecke + Devrient GmbH, Siemens, Infineon Technology AG, KPMG AG, Allianz SE, ESG, Audi, Munich Airport and many more.

The “Security Network Munich” has been active since 1 October 2012. It started as a project from the Digitalization Bavaria Center, commissioned by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology in order to expand and intensify the network of IT security at companies and research institutions. More than 140 companies, associations and research institutes are now involved in the network, all possessing a clear focus on cyber security. The Software Factory is a member of the Security Network Munich and was one of the first companies to actively contribute expertise. Thomas Trägler, a CEO at the Software Factory, for instance leads the Safe Industry 4.0 Working Committee in the Munich Security Network.
